Featured Services
Gastric Bypass Surgery
Gastric bypass has helped weight loss patients reach their health goals for decades now. During this procedure, Dr. Ramirez will create a small pouch from your stomach and connect it to a portion of your small intestine. Because the food you eat will “bypass” the majority of your stomach, you will absorb fewer calories and feel full for longer, lending to effective weight loss.
Gastric Sleeve Surgery
A newer and very popular weight loss procedure, gastric sleeve surgery involves the removal of about 80% of the stomach rather than a bypass. The procedure gets its name from the sleevelike appearance of the stomach post-operation. The smaller stomach absorbs fewer calories and also reduces the amount of hunger-causing hormone you produce.
5-Star Reviews For Dr. Ramirez and Team
Very straightforward and above and beyond helpful. We are so happy that we came here for my gastric bypass procedure.
